Biography
James Corke-Webster is a one of the towering figures of Christ Church footballing history. His saintly off-field demeanour is cast aside every time he steps on to the field, exposing the predatory instincts underneath. A giant of a man, Corke-Webster has a natural advantage aerially, but this is accentuated by his patented "duck-flap" technique which propels him far above the turf whenever the ball is in the air.
JCW began his career as a ginger winger of some distinction, galavanting up and down either flank without ever putting a hair out of place. However, much to his chagrin, he was transformed into an auxilary right-back while in his prime. His initial reaction to this setback was a lesson in petulance to any aspiring footballer. However, he has learnt to embrace his new role, having bulked up his physique to boost his performance level. Clearly, this is a man who understands that winning is everything, even if it means making extraordinary sacrifices.
